Martinez doesn't deserve this fight. He was a decent fighter a decade ago, but got ran through by anyone of significance when the time came to step up. This just might have to do with Kiko's fight with Hearn's young up n' comer Zelfa Barrett earlier this year which many fans and critics alike thought was a robbery when the judges ruled it unanimously for Barrett. IMO, Barrett clearly won the fight, but one judge ruled it 118-111 and people were extremely upset about it. I didn't think it was that crazy, Kiko certainly had moments in a couple rounds and kept up the pressure the entire fight, but Barrett landed clean shots the entire fight. Barrett was stumbled a few times, but i think it just has to do with him having a bit of a weak chin.
Galahad should be undefeated. IDC what anyone says he beat Josh Warrington in their clash. I even had a huge wager on Warrignton because i knew if it fell to the judges there was no way it was going against the hometown fighter. Galahad isn't a big puncher so i felt it was safe. Galahad can be an extremely frustrating guy to watch (and fight). He keeps a distance and then leaps in with a punch and holds. Kiko is a fighter who tends to come forward the entire fight, so i think this will be Galahad doing his usual routine of moving his feet until he gets a comfortable distance and then firing quick leaping punches and holding on. In short, it should be a boring fight. Kid Galahad by UD....Martinez is a pretty tough guy even though he's getting old, he should be able to see the final bell
