I get that it's natural for fighters to want to explain away a loss or clarify certain things after a fight but reading all of this by Ji Yeon Kim has left a bad taste in my mouth tbh. Having a moan or complaining about a result is natural and I never hold that against a fighter but this is a bit too much if you ask me. The fight itself wasn't great to watch but that happens in this sport sometimes, not every fight can be a banger or free from controversy and this is not the way to react to it regardless of how hard done by she may feel.

The “enjoy your pitiful victory” part is the most cringe to me. I’m usually ok with fighters making occasional excuses but if you’re going to make an excuse at least be respectful to your opponent. Its not Böhm’s fault that Kim didn’t listen to her doctors. If you choose to fight injured and your opponent takes advantage thats on you.

Glad Fran got the deal he wanted hope he gets paid before PFL implodes no idea how they can pay even their regular salaries.
Reminds me of Strikeforce and EliteXC to name a couple paid big stars to not be in UFC then went bankrupt.

I think Merab getting hand surgery now is him just sitting out and waiting for his title shot. Dude wants no part of Cejudo or Umar and I honestly think those are his toughest match-ups, I don't think his crazy pace and shooting 50 takedowns a round is going to work against those two, I think that would actually be his detriment. Those guys WANT you to come to them and start grabbing them, they're very good at that, you need to bring a lot more than just a good pace and changing levels, especially if it's 5 rounds.
