America is not a first world country, Canada is. We have culture and respect here, the US offers a mass shooting every week and a 78 year old president who is a pedophile and his son is a ****. 

The old send the young off to useless wars, you make money of the profit of death, your country is a pedophile capital and most obviously know your politicians use your money to have orgies and sex parties, etc. America is one of the worst countries in the world, you idiots just can't help but ******* up.

Don't know how many of you guys watch Union Rugby but international test matches have been on going for the past two weeks. This weekend was probably one of the best weekends for test rugby I've seen. 

The term first world is derived from the sides of the cold war, with first world being the western bloc, second being the east and everything else being the third. In that way the United states is definitely first world. 

Why the **** does everyone have some "canada is perfect" mentality. It's a member of NATO and has troops deployed in Iraq, a history of genociding indigenous communities, a ************* prime minister who has faced controversy after controversy. Canada is in many ways just as ****** up as America, difference is they're government hasn't completely oppressed them and written away their rights like the canadian one. Seriously, Canadian left wing nationalism is so ******* annoying, "were way better than America, **** that ****hole that we completely rely on for trade and protection and who we mimic culturally." Hopefully this **** will stop when the US annexes it. No hate on canadians, America gets too much hate. 

Do you have any proof that he's a pedo? I'm not against criticism but you need to back up your critique with facts if you're going to make bold claims like that. Also I'm pretty sure you don't know what the definition of a first world country is.

You know, @Baron, you’re pretty smart for your age… and species.  I’m generous, Canada can join as 13 states.  What about Britain?  Just the one for you, 64, or do your numbers merit more?  

@flyingfrontkick All humans have culture in virtue of being human.  It’s  not something you can monopolize or sell at a bulk store.

The U.S. has its fair share of problems but to say it’s one of the worst countries in the world is crazy🤣 the fact u can say it’s one of the worst countries in the world and not be persecuted for it proves that point. You call Putin or Xi corrupt and you will end up missing

I mean my country is practically a US puppet when it comes to foreign policy now days e.g Of course we'll invade Iraq for you. If we did join (never gonna happen lol) i'd imagine they'd use more historic counties with a generalisation of areas, thinking celtic or old english kingdom esque. Like dumnonia, cumbria, essex, wessex etc with more modern names.  The current county method with cities being independent (e.g nottingham not technically Nottinghamshire and Leicester not leicestershire) but there all like hovering half a mil pop, something not even impressive in America. They'd probably nearly all be democrat lol, European politics is way further left than America, healthcare and abortion aren't that much of an issue, both major parties are for them. 

Still just a thought experiment cause that ****s never gonna happen, i'd personally set myself alight and arab spring that **** just to get free for the US, just blind nationalism and hypocrisy i suppose but being the 51st state is kinda gay.

Wow Robbie's such a class act. Being a ref is hard. Doesn't matter if you're the "gold standard" you'll eventually slip up, especially when you've been reffing for as long as Herb has.

It's your choice but I really don't see the need for you to delete your account. You're a popular member on here and if you feel you need to take a break from Tapology then that's absolutely fine and we'd completely understand and respect that choice and that way you'd still have your account with all your stats and achievements to come back to later if you wanted to.

As for the Robbie Lawler VS Ben Askren situation:

1) Despite losing, Robbie Lawler came out looking better for it, not only for his class and sportsmanship he showed at the end but also for the fact that he gave Askren absolute hell early on and nearly finished him at a time when Askren was hyped as nearly unbeatable. He was arguably one of the few fighters who made Askren look human at that point.

2) As for the stoppage, I don't believe it was a blunder from Herb Dean at all and I think he made the right call. The way Lawler's arm went limp and dropped uncontrollably makes me think that he did in fact go out for a second or two and just quickly regained consciousness. I think that Dean saw that he was out AND went to double check by grabbing it, obviously felt no resistance from him and decided to call it. I know there's the whole thumbs up situation and I can see that argument for it but in a position like that, a thumbs up is an extremely ambiguous gesture and could be mistaken for simply twitching the thumb. Dean decided that Lawler was out and he's in there to help protect the fighters and did the right thing given the circumstances. In any case, it's ALWAYS better to stop a fight too soon than too late!
