Idk **** about cameras but I think the canon EOS is really good

I know a fair amount about cameras and photography, and canon is hard to beat. Plus they've been around forever so it's easy to find used bodies and lenses that work well

The ex used to take a lot of nature photos, including photos of birds.  Says a Canon Rebel, plus a couple of good lenses....

Friend says a Nikon coolpix p1000  125x because of how good the zoom is. You pay a premium for the camera but don't need to buy additional lenses so it actually scales pretty well in a value sense. It's also idiot-proof being point and click.

Personally, I know nothing about cameras, but Nikon makes the smoothest handling, clearest picture light microscope.  Focuses like a dream.  Perhaps it’s the same company?

Definitely the same company. Kind of like how Zeiss makes all kinds of lenses.

@Baldric Eggling Specifically for birds, a Tamron 70-300 zoom lens with image stabilization.

I used to sell digital cameras if your not a pro.
Go into a shop and try some find what works for you.
Canon Sony Nikon all used to be top quality.
Lots of new and less known brands too.
This info is 10-15 years old so bet your life on it.

I saw "political toxicity" used in a CBS article and I'm just trying to figure out what the **** does that even mean?? Also how did a bunch of reddit and tumblr idiots get the word "toxicity" added to every left-wing journalists vocabulary?? They started using it to describe certain people's behavior online, and then somehow around 2015/6 they just started combining the word with anything they can think of.

@Check basically it's a blanket term for anything the authoritarian left (which is basically all the left in 2022) doesn't approve of, is threatening to its political future, or cannot be controlled by it.

Welp I bought the p1000. Called the camera store, spoke the guy for about 10 minutes, explained to him that I am ******** and he suggested it without me even telling him I was considering buying that model.

In a sociological context, it is employed almost exclusively by the authoritarian left, and it is merely one word they have done violence to. Obviously as a noun it was used long before being co-opted by ridiculous ****tards, and still is.


It's basically used by ****libs as a prefix to denigrate or otherwise disclaim anything they don't like, or can't do. I suspect the term 'Toxic Masculinity' was created by weeb ****libs/soys as a means of prescribing themselves some kind of artificial value in the sexual marketplace, being both unattractive and undesirable sexual and life partners to real women. It's essentially a way of making chads look like a bad option, and making themselves look better.

No red-blooded woman with a brain buys it.

I'll think both side of the isle when they **** on the other side of the isle, Are kinda describing themselves.
