DP Carr is slightly more experienced and is coming into the contest against a quite inexperienced challenger, so maybe that was the thinking behind many of the predictions...

Although Dodge stalked Carr throughout the 1st Round, personally I think Carr took it, with his accurate counter punching and slightly higher volume of Punches...

I have Danny Carr up and my bet has been altered in Play to Carr on Points... Dodge trying to pressure, but in all fairness, Carr is the more naturally skilled Boxer and his movements are causing Dodge problems landing his punches... 🤔🤑👊🥊🥊👊👍💷

Greater foot movement, better balance and faster hands, with more accuracy applied by Danny Carr... In my opinion of course... I just don't think Dodge has the power to earn enough respect from Carr to keep him still and make Carr have a fire fight 🤔🤑🥊👊👊🥊👍

A decent 50/50 tussle in all fairness... However, I still think that Carr is edging the contest by 3 Rounds ish, going into Round 9 of a possible 10 🤔🤑👊🥊🥊👊👍

A fair result and an accurate scorecard by the Referee, Howard Foster (for a change), in the end for Danny Carr and I thought either 97 - 93, or 96 - 94 was a fair result for a Danny Carr Points Win on the Night... Dodge needs to learn to punch more and punch more accurately basically, because all his pressure through 10 Rounds, combined with modest punch power and game approach throughout, which he showed throughout the contest were the reasons why I predicted him to Win, but Carr simply got off to a better start through the first 4 - 5 Rounds, with his neat movement, boxing skills and counter punching ability... Carr also had better fight IQ too. 🤔🤑💷🥊👊👊🥊👍

A very good display by Samuel Antwi this evening, stopping the extremely game, Darren Tetley via a 6th Round Stoppage... Tetley played his part in making the contest a competitive affair, but Antwi walked through a lot of Tetley's punches and when Antwi unloaded on Darren Tetley, you could see the physical pain and turmoil that Antwi caused Tetley... Arguably the Stoppage was slightly premature, but I also commend the Referee for looking after Darren Tetley's best interests, as he was clipped by a massive Right Hook that shook is head after just taking a barrage of shots, culminating in him going down for the second time in the contest, towards the end of the 6th Round... Really impressed with Antwi's physicality, power and shot selection, as those shots to Tetley's body caused a lot of the damage 🤔🤑💷🥊👊👊🥊👍

Another huge Underdog has the last laugh... Gavin Gwynne literally knocked the spirit out of Sean McComb it would appear... Quite surprised that McComb struggled, despite the intensity applied by Gwynne, as I thought that McComb would be able to comfortably Box his way to a decision victory on the night... However in Gavin Gwynne's mind and performance from 3 - 7, that wasn't happening on his day and we have a New Commonwealth Lightweight Champion... Respect to Gavin Gwynne... Back to the drawing board for Sean McComb 🤔👊🥊🥊👊👍👏👏
