Shaun Marmas vs. (3-2-1) vs. “Relentless” Robbie Leroux (2-1) – Bantamweight

For those of you who followed my interview with Robbie Leroux. He came out to Enter the Sandman. Check out my interveiw with Robbie here: http://www.shockblastmedia.com/2011/11/interview-with-relentless-robbie-leroux-returning-to-the-cage-in-ces-mma-undisputed/

Round 1:

Leroux starts the match by shooting for a take down Maramas gets him in a headlock but Leroux works to get side position and into Marmas guard. He landed a few punches Maramas answers back from the mat. Leroux is continuing to work for a new postion. He stands up for a moment and lands a sold right hand from the mat before getting side control again. He has Marmas ribs exposed and landing some vicious elbows to his body. Marmas is trying to answer back with some punches from the mat but Leroux is doing a great job keeping him on his back. He pulls away and then flies in for a head shot a couple of times. He moves into side control again. He is trying to get Marama’s back but ends up in his half guard again. Robbie gets full mount and fires some head shots before Marmas is able to get him back into his full guard.

Maramas is finally able to get back to his feet and goes for a flying knee. He missed and Leroux is able to grab a leg and take him down again as the round ends.
