Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 515 Points   |   4th Place

Mesquita vs. Elias
Bruno Mesquita, DEC
Mesquita is a guy I think could make his way to bigger promotion. He was on the Ultimate Fighter but was eliminated early and was probably too soon for him then, think he was 22/23? He has a good well rounded game, funky kicks on the feet, solid BJJ. This fight is far from a gimme though, I seen Elias last fight when he got a nice win over another 9-1 prospect. He's a wildman too as a couple fights back he was DQ'd for brawling in between rounds! lol

Bilharinho vs. Duarte
Jonas Bilharinho, TKO, R1
Bilharinho was the sparring partner who broke Aldos rib 2 weeks before UFC189, meant to be Aldo McGregor. He was a very highly regarded prospect at that point, expected to be in the UFC but I think he got a hard time for injuring Aldo, he suffered a surprise upset defeat then he disappeared?! That was 3 and a half years ago! Hopefully he hasn't wasted too much of his prime years and he can pick up where he left off. He's a long rangy striker, very similar to 145 McGregor with more deadly kicks, as Aldo found out! Anyway that's the end of todays MMA History lesson! Bilharinho to get a head kick KO and take advantage of Future MMA's deal with LFA and end up main or co-main eventing an LFA card early next year

Bilharino's back huh...He definitely had some hype at one point. Who knows how he'll do now though.

Scheffel vs. Vasconcelos
Matheus Scheffel, TKO, R3
2 of Brazils top 205ers. I think you'll see the a few of the guys on this card on a UFC Brazil Fight Night soon. I'd say the winner of this fight(my moneys ob Scheffel) Wilycat, Bilharinho, Mesquita and Caliocane have the best chance. Good card this is!

Santos vs. Costa
Daniel Santos, TKO, R2
Wilycat Santos is 100% a Chute Boxe fighter!!!! 2 Spinning Back Kick KO's in his last 3 fights should tell you that! His opponent here had high hopes a fes years back, hence the nickname "The Prodigy"! He's at ATT too so he could still develop into a talent. Tough test here tho against an all action wild man!!!!

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 5 of 14 Winners, 0 Perfect, 265 Points   |   Tied for 23rd with 1 other

Scheffel vs. Vasconcelos
Fábio Vasconcelos, TKO, R2
Vasconcelos could literally be a win away from a UFC phone call. He's riding a 4 fight win streak, and he's an exciting fighter in the sense that he is a finisher. ONLY has one win that went the distance. So somebody WILL BE GOING TO SLEEP

Barbosa vs. Nogueira
Rafael Barbosa, TKO, R2
Rafael Barbosa might be the guy on this card that's closest to being UFC ready. I've been impressed with the kid watching his last 3 fights live. The last when he smoked Nate Jennerman in the LFA with elbows ... That was impressive. You'll see him in the big show soon. Another win will make it harder to deny him.

Bilharinho vs. Duarte
Junior Duarte, DEC
Is "Ring Rust" a thing or not? DC and Dom Cruz argue about it on every fight card...

Who's watching a little Future FC tonight? Just got it up and saw that gut busting knee finish, felt that here.

And everyone on Tapology picked Abreu, and everyone just lost as Dos Santos took decision. Very fun fight though, tough for both.

Alan Gabriel flatlines Rocha in the 1st! Out freakin cold with a big left. Followed up with a ground strike as well before ref could save him. That was beautifully brutal.
