I've been working for the past year in Bishop, CA, installing the medical gas and water piping for North Inyo Hospital's new wing. I worked on this job with Scott Rosa's dad. Rosa's dad was my foreman on this job. I got to see this guy fight as an amateur in Reno, NV. He won his first fight in Shark Fights, and if he finds a good wrestling coach, all I can say is............watch out for this guy. WAR!!!!!!! Scott Rosa!!!!

@ redkayak - he's 6'-6" with an 84" reach. If he can get some really good wrestling under his belt, this kid will rule at 185, and quite possibly 205. As an amateur, I saw him fight a guy that outweighed him by almost 80lbs. at fight time. Scott was 215, and they guy he fought had to cut weight to make the 265lb weight limit. Scott held his own very well in the first round, and the 2nd round was close, but by the 3rd Scott wore down from keeping that big guy off of him and he lost by split decision. The reason Scott took the fight was because the fighter at LHW, pulled out at the last minute, and Scott took this fight on short notice to keep himself active in the cage.

@ swickotine - he was really nervous because that was his first pro fight, but I think he did really good. I told his dad, that Scott has a bright future in this sport. Rosa's dad says that it drives him nuts every time Scott fights, but it's what Scott wants to do.

Yeah it would be tough to watch your son fight, especially in Shark Fights where the guys aren't weak.
