Its the cycle of life/ Prize-fighting. Apparently you get bad luck for knocking Aldo out. How quickly you go from mauling opponents to getting mauled is always shocking though.

This is a very interesting fight
Holloway has shown he is an incredibly tough fighter who has taken it to everyone he fought.
Khabib is such an imposing presence and has taken it to everyone he fought.
If this wasnt on 6 days notice and they both got full camps very hard to pick fight it would come down to who is tougher.
Since Holloway is recently removed from an injury and wasnt in training mode completely yet Khabib is a safer pick but Khabib could also sleep on Holloway for those reasons still its a very exciting fight and i cannot wait to see it.
I know im still super pumped for this card and props to holloway for stepping in like this

it's gonna be a boring night if my picks are right. khabib mauls people but doesn't finish them as often. max isn't gonna give up and is gonna push to steal rounds if khabib slows at all.

Honestly the fight to make is raging AL vs Nurmy, but the UFC hates Al. I think on short notice Al would be a dangerous fight for Nurmy.

Seems Khabib is now without an opponent for tomorrow night. Commission pulled the scale on Pettis. Also hearing Pettis wanted a pay raise to fight Khabib and the UFC declined, so now he's not fighting.
