Probably, Anderson doesn't change the way he fights at all.  He still manages to win, I'm fairly confident he will win.

I wouldn't read too much into it.  Anderson/Soares have said these kinds of things before.  He is 37, but he hasn't lost a step yet.

I think this is more about Soares saying Anderson wants to pursue bigger fights while he's still in his prime, and it's a valid point.  If he doesn't fight GSP or Jones soon, then when?  Best to strike while the iron is hot.

I would love to see him step up and beat Jones, then defend the title once and go out like a Don. That would be a legacy.

i'm with soars in one aspect.  sonnen, cheated and lost then got in trouble outside the ring.... bottom line he still lost and if he wasn't opening up his mouth so much and self promoting the rematch, he wouldn't have even gotten a second glance from dana about a second fight so soon.  he needs to fight vitor at the very least.

How badass would it be if he went out undefeated in the UFC and the last two people he beat were both GSP ANDD Jones?

I don't think he owes it to us to fight Jones. He will be too old for this before long, and if he ever lost, even to Jones, people would talk so much ****.

When Chael beat Stann (very easily) Silva looked more worried then angry to me. I don't think Anderson really wants to fight Chael. If he did he would have went to Dana and made it happen. Anderson, Chael and Soares all know Sonnen has what it takes to beat Silva and so of course they're gonna try to pull the whole back of the line b.s. Chael beat Anderson up for over 4 rounds and would have got an immediate rematch had he not been suspended and then he goes out and beats a top 5 mw in Stann like he was some scrub (which he's not obviously) I guess my whole point to Silva is your fat little manager runs around saying you're the best all the time, sign up to fight Chael and beat him down and prove you're much better then him instead of making excuses on why you don't want to fight him. Chael is the undisputed #1 contender for that belt and everyone knows it.

I was talking about the next morning after UFC 136 being on the phone with Dana telling him he wants to fight Chael. Everybody wants this fight to happen except for Silva. Wonder why?

Chael got stopped. Even without the suspension he should have fougth someone else before rematching Anderson.
You make a good point, Anderson would rather not even **** with chael, mostly because he would be insuferable if he won. I think silva feels about Chael the way i feel: GET THE **** OUT OF HERE, YOU DELUSIONAL OBNOXIOUS *******!!  But i do think Silva will beat him again.

I think Anderson win's this match up again, I would love to see him TKO Sonnen but I don't know if he can stop those takedown's so I will probably pick a submission win

Before when Sonnen was suspended obviously Silva couldn't do anything about it. But now we are at a point where Sonnen has beat a top 5 guy and now neither Chael or Anderson have a fight. Forget about the crazy things Chael says he has earned a title shot from his octagon performances. Anderson says he wants to fight the best and other then himself Sonnen is the best 185er by quite a bit.

Of course Anderson would beat him again. Everyone that loves Chael just hate Anderson. They want to see him prevail and want a trash talking champion. If I were Anderson I'd be thinking...
1. Why would I give you Chael the satisfaction of stepping inside the cage with me again after being in trouble with mortgage fraud and what was it...anabolic steroids?
2. If Chael didn't run his mouth all the time no one would be paying attention to him. He's Jon Fitch but with a mouth.
I honestly don't think Chael would win this time. Anderson would pick him apart in the stand up and he wouldn't have bruised ribs this time. He wouldn't be looking for the submission but the knockout.
That's how I see it anyways. Beating Brian Stann who is green on the ground shouldn't earn a title shot. He needs to fight once more in my opinion.

As a fan though I'd like to see Anderson fight Chael just so he can put him to rest. Put him away so people aren't all over this fight anymore.

Its all good to say Anderson is gonna finish Chael easily this fight, but the reality is its gonna go a lot like the 1st...Chael is too damn good of a wrestler and good enough with his boxing to hang with Silva until he finds the takedown
