I love music and like to see what everyone else likes, I like pretty much all types of music.

So what are you guys listening to?

Right now I'm listening to "AssMilk" by Tyler the Creator feat. Earl Sweatshirt - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgyWFVfnZ-k

Big difference between J Cole and Kendrick's hype. J Cole got his hype before ever dropping an album, he got hype from Jay Z. Kendrick earned his hype with a classic album in Section .80 and then followed it up with another classic in GKMC. Not to mention he's one of the few artists to be loved by mainstream and underground fans, he's not going anywhere for a long time

@trevpicks I'm a follower in rap music...coming from the Eminem fan...I think I'm getting trolled.

The only people who called J. Cole the second coming were idiots, a couple of good tracks from some mixtapes don't mean ****.

History does say that, but GKMC was Kendrick's second album; it was his first where the hype started. To say that he got his hype from Dre is idiotic as well.

trev man, you're giving me down syndrome. Go jack off to the 8 Mile sex scene or something.

EDIT: Oh god did you just bring up the chatroom? Why the **** do people think I'm on that ******* chatroom all the time?

Ask Swick, Live, Gunn, Nick, anyone who's on that chatroom everyday, I come on maybe once or twice a month. God trev, you're like ******* wolf.

Slim Shady's first two albums were genuinely sick, after that he sold out hasn't produced anything good in ages but he has his place in the history books.

I just can't argue with someone who's either a) deliberately trying to enrage me (and actually being successful) or b) is actually that stupid and living in their own bubble.

@Nomad That's exactly how I look at it, only I include "The Eminem Show" in there as well.

You are like wolf: you assume I'm on a chatroom for some ******* reason that every psycho brings up, you refuse to address what is being said to you and you just continue talking about what you think without recognizing anything else. It's literally the Internet equivalent of plugging your ears and yelling "lalala I'm not listening". You are acting exactly like wolf right now and I'm sorry that I have to say that 'cause I actually like you. It's a shame really.

Well if you were a rap connoisseur for one, you would obviously know that Kendrick's impact on rap this year isn't second to Jay-Z's ****tiest album and a collection of Eminem songs that sound like fan covers of "Love the Way You Lie".

Anik my chat room response was towards swick's post of him, you and live gang mentality. Second kendrick's impact was big this year, woulda been smaller then j cole was in his first year if not for that verse on control which was kinda taking a page outta eminem's book on how to get people to talk about you.
