Soko did relatively well, better than I expected, but not that great from either guy.

As for the half-point scoring system, let's hope it goes away and never comes back.

Jimmo won rounds 1,5 and Sok 2-4 IMO. Sok shoulda won the decision, disappointed with this fight. Overall good card though

Was thinking I was gonna start 3-0 on this card and fall to 3-3, but the hometown decision gave me a 4-2 night with a decision perfect and 1 perfect

@gregory, lets not forget about the possibility of judges not even knowing what a decimal IS.

Also, why do we insist on 10 being what the winner gets?  It's not like there's ever a 10-2 round where you needed such a big gap.

Scoring rounds 10 - 9.5 just makes it even more absurd.  How about we take it to the next level with the 10,000 point must system.

"How do you have that round, Joe?"

"I've got it 10,000 to Edgar and 9,999.5 to Maynard based on the slight edge in Octagon control."

Judge Cecil Peoples scores this bout 30,000 to 29,997 in favor of the winner, Chael Sonnen.

Judges cant even count numbers when its only 10's and 9's and they want them to count up 10's 9.5's 8.5's. Yea good luck with that

@Greg I had that scored 30,000 to 29,998.5 lol

@Ronin, as sad as it is youre right. MMA really needs to get better judges or at least train them better.

@Live2wrestle Yea they need to be better educated in the sport and in basic math. There is no excuse for messing that up. If you cant count to 50 by tens you need to go to grade school again. Also if that was you that gave me the thumbs up thanks it got me my receive 1000 thumbs up ribbon
