Anybody else watching?
I'm pumped, I am an MMA fan first, but I still love a good boxing match. I think Mayweather takes this one, late stoppage.

Mayweather is up at least 2, if not 3 rounds going into the 4th.

Wow.  Ortiz lost a point from the ref for a headbutt...when they went to fight again Ortiz tried to apologize, but Floyd just hit him...and knocked him out.

I dislike both those guys. They both fight dirty, Ortiz threw a very blatant headbutt. Then Mayweather sucker punched Ortiz for the ko. lol

I have no idea what happened. I never watch boxing but I had nothing better to watch right now. Really, the ref is talking to someone outside the ring and they just start fighting? That's legal?

Everyone loses there.

Ortiz: Blatant, conscious decision to throw the headbutt
Mayweather: he knew the fight was supposed to be paused even if it technically wasn't.  ultimate sleaze.
Referee: total fail
Boxing broadcast production: Feels like it's 1970's.

@ian the only comparison is Paul Daley's sucker punch.

There's no evidence the nut shots from Varner to Shalorus were on purpose.  Kicks to the groin in MMA are commonplace and virtually always accidental.

This also brings to mind Koscheck's decision to keep attacking Matt Hughes in their 2nd fight even though he knew he nailed him with a knee to the balls and Hughes was reacting to it.  But even that wasn't as bad as Mayweather.

There was no heat-of-the-moment decision at all in Mayweather's move.  He shook hands with Ortiz, could obviously see that Ortiz wasn't fighting, and still decided to clock him.

No excuse, it was pre meditated. He drew him in with the "sorry touch gloves," then clocked him before he could get his hands up. Dirty move by a dirty fighter.

P.S. - doesn't help that he almost got into a physical altercation with 80 year old Larry Merchant because "he never gives him a fair interview?" Seriously Floyd? C'MON MANNY!!!!!
