You are the official Contender Series thread maker now, sir!

The Tapology algorithm likes Castañeda and Candelario. It doesn't seem as impressed with Arnett, despite a stellar record. Perhaps some cans del tomato dotting it?

Ok fight but no contract there. If all fights are horrible (not saying that was) do they still give out a contract no matter what? That was annoying that they didn't say the scorecards.I watched the other ones and i'm pretty sure they said the scores there but can't say for sure.Anyone remember?

I would hope not Kuma. If nobody is deserving of a contract then I don't think they should give one out.

Castaneda definitely won 29-28, but Leialoha did well against a 13-2 guy for having never fought a guy with a winning record. I think both have a reasonably bright future. Not getting a contract will benefit Leialoha in the long run. Hope he continues to fight solid guys.

When quick studying this card I noticed a lot of can crushing going on.What do you guys think of the Hawes Marquez fight?Marquez vs Chris Harris in Bellator was absolutely bananas and made me an instant fan.Marquez is a beast but really not that great but then we have Phil "the cardio flaws" Hawes.I watched that guy wrestle way before mma but not super impressed with him so far in his career.Hoping Marquez pulls it out after Hawes gasses but could be wrestle ****.

I have it 1-1...but I think the winner will get a contract, whoever it is. Davis has the momentum though.

@Kuma I agree. Davis definitely going to get a contract, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Arnett be given another look somewhere down the line soon.

Good luck to the rest of the fighters on the show getting contract. Because Davis just got one I'm sure.

29-28 Candelario possible 10-8 in the 3rd for Candido if they are being generous.

Edit: I was super impressed with Candelario but him fading a lot made his performance much less impressive.

I think Candelario impressed Dana with his toughness and submission defense. Honestly, that's probably how Dana wanted the Woodley/Maia fight to look, in a way. I can see Candelario being rewarded with a contract as well unless the last two fights produce someone more impressive.
