Im not sure how NOG /MIR 2 WOULD TURN OUT. Being a Nog fan i would be scared with Mir's improved striking but this has to happen.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone by saying Schaub is overrated, I actually said that because I read somewhere he said he "deserved a title shot at the winner of Cain/JDS" and Nog proved otherwise. Anyway, I don't think "lucky" is the correct term to be used, it was more like Nog was able to exploit a fault of Schaub's and TKO'd him.

That was my favorite moment of the whole card.  I picked Schaub to win, but was jumping for joy to see Big Nog get back on track!  I can only imagine what the 20,000 edited posts from @Soccer said... I know you're let down man, but put the guns back in their holsters :).

First of all Tito proves me wrong. Now Big Nog decides to do the same to me.

My reaction was so loud when Big Nog TKO'd Schuab that my parents thought I had an accident >_<

Judges were the same as if it was in America, Fightmetrics proved the fight was close, but Barboza threw some sick kicks that impressed the judges and secured him the win. No robbery, just a close decision.

Also, Fisher, Miller, Schaub, Griffin, Pearson and Okami (not so much) all had theirs chances of winning, even Tapology agrees with that as many people picked at least one of those. Too bad all the brazilians were motivated to be fighting home, sucks for them.

@jocabogho

From Bloody Elbow:
"FightMetric's Effectiveness Scores favored Ross Pearson 258 to 199 over Edson Barboza, and the extrapolated ten-point must system awarded him the fight 29-28. Pearson outlanded Barboza 60-55 in significant strikes. (He added 2 non-significant strikes as well.) Pearson targeted the head more often (a 47-29 advantage), while Barboza went after the body (22-7)."

Not saying your wrong, just that Fightmetric seems to have suggested that Pearson should have won. Personally I scored the fight 29-28 in favour of Barboza (cause I don't have FM's eyes ¬_¬) but it was a close contest.

PEARSON WON! And I probably would have won the contest if he had got the decision.

I agree 1000000% Thiago.  Pearson pushed the pace that entire fight, and won the 1st and 3rd rounds.  Barboza won the 2nd round, but only by way of knocking Pearson down.  I wouldn't call it highway robbery, but I definitely feel like Pearson got shafted on that decision.

Well as far as I'm concerned, Pearson deserved that win. Everybody acted like Barboza was going to bulldoze him. I laughed at that, and I was correct. Thiago, I'm glad you stood by Pearson as well.

Ya I knew Barboza was good but he is also overrated and Pearson should that and beat Barboza at his own game in my opinion

Pearson showed up for sure. I think Barboza won that fight, but Pearson looked good.
