Stephens is bigger, stronger, younger and has one shot ability with a variety of weapons. Everyone seems to forget what Gray Maynard did to Frankie multiple times.

Stephens will stuff the takedown and blast Frankie clean out.

Stephens ain't Maynard and 2016 Edgar ain't 2010 Edgar. Also, I'll believe someone can actually KO Edgar when I see it. Maynard dropped him again and again but Edgar kept staying awake.

because Maynard isn't a real one shot kind of guy and gassed himself trying to finish. Stephens is easily better than Maynard ever was.

Aldo proved that as good as Frankie is he isn't close to unbeatable. this is the beginning of Stephens run

I was showing you what happens when Frankie fights a bigger stronger guy who can wrestle. wasn't the Yves fight in 2012? been a long while

edit. I'm actually giggling out loud that your counter comparison was a southpaw counter striker. Totally frankies style amirite? xD what aldo showed is if you're patient and mind your tdd you can time that little rush Frankie likes to do an blast him on the way in. Stephens showed great composure and consistent leg kicks against barao, I don't see why the same won't hold true here.

I was right for once. Edgar is practically impossible to KO. Head kick + illegal knee didn't do it. Stephens also couldn't stop the takedowns.
