Man, I really liked Chris as a fighter but I remember him retiring on that stool and he looked long past done. Hope he can get a couple wins though

Leben looked like **** in his last several fights and has probably already taken enough punches to the head that he'll have problems down the line. Not sure what he's looking to accomplish here except making money.

Chris Leben has not aged well in this sport, the game is way past the stage it was when he was having success. Stalking forward and eating multiple strikes for the sake of landing one is just not a viable way to fight anymore, if you want any chance of winning.

He should get a few wins if he fights some standard fighters there.

No he shouldn't. Bellator has a pretty good MW division, if he fights anyone even remotely good, he won't win.

Thing is the UFC will do fine without any of those guys.

When Chris was at is best he had a chin like a tank and heavily relied on it. He hasn't bee able to take a shot for years and I worry about his long term health at this point. I hope all the best for him but I can't get excited about him fighting again.

Manhoef, Radach, Marshall, Grove, Beltran, Koscheck...

All those guys are shop-worn bangers just like Leben. Leben has no business in the UFC, but I think there are some good matchups for him in Bellator, despite his deterioration.

@AnAlias All those guys but maybe Radach and Koscheck beat Leben at this point. The up and coming guys (Sordi, Reiter, France, Mathews) at 185 beat him as well. Bellator probably will have him face a local/regional guy or someone they sign especially for Leben to fight him. Coker should book Leben vs. Mayhem

@Kinsalsa I actually don't like the idea of him fighting a younger regional guy. It would be a very bad investment and quite embarrassing if he were to lose and well, it's Chris Leben. We have no idea what he's going to look like the day of the fight.

Hopefully his first fight will be against a somewhat experienced opponent with somewhat of a name. Would mostly want to see him against Keith Berry as I think that would be an exciting fight. Benji Radach or Bubba McDaniels also came to mind.

@Kinsalsa... I'm not so sure those other guys I listed would definitely beat Leben. I'd call all those matchups more or less 50/50.

...and Mayhem? As in Mayhem Miller? If Coker is smart he'll keep that dumpster fire as far away from his promotion as possible. I know Leben himself has had his fair share of issues outside of the cage, but Mayhem has proven to be seriously unstable.

@AnAlias I think all the guys I mentioned beat Leben.I even could see him losing to Kos and Radach. Leben would lose all these fights because It's over for him, he is done. He shouldn't be fighting anymore. It'$ the worst signing Coker/Chou have done. I mentioned Leben vs. Mayhem as joke, but I wouldn't surprise me from Coker.

It's hard to let go of guys like this. The same thing happens to me watching Diego Sanchez. The sport has evolved around them and they simply can't keep up, but one never forgets what we have seen them pull off in their hay day. I think we all know that Leben is not going to do big things in Bellator or anywhere, but the nostalgia will make us watch.

Guys if you haven't seen it (don't check result) please go watch Chris Leban vs Terry Martin fully, right now if possible

As great as Martin vs Leben was that fight happened almost 9 years ago. This is a sport of millimeters and milliseconds and losing a fraction of a second in speed and reaction can be detrimental especially in the striking game.  Sure you can have Leben fighting other old timers as a novelty mich like Shamrock vs Gracie but it would never be more than that.
