Absolutely Insane.

I actually had this whole hearing on Fight Pass while I worked in the FightCenter today. Diaz's legal team brought the heat and NAC responded with pitifully bruised egos.

This one's certainly going to court, and we'll see what happens; hopefully we get a repeat of Brady v. NFL.

This is so ****** up. On the bright side, Nick Diaz will almost certainly appeal, and should 100% win it. The NSAC guidelines say that for a third time weed offender, they get 2 years. Good luck to the NSAC defending this in a legit court. Diaz's attorney is correct, it is 100% just a personal vendetta against Diaz.

Five years for weed, but you have multi-LEGITIMATE-PED users getting reinstated left and right, getting these small suspensions. Then you have ************s biting people's ears off and getting reinstated. It's horse****.

I normally have no pity for the Diaz's , they do it to themselves. But 5 years and talks of a lifetime ban is ridiculous. With that said Joe Rogan had the new drug czar of the UFC on his podcast recently and he said Diaz levels were so high there is no way he didnt smoke the day of the fight so Diaz doesnt really give a **** , so im not going to either.

Don't agree with the decision, but Diaz is still a fool for disregarding the rules and picking a fight with the NSAC. If there's a fighter I'm not going to have much pity for, it's Diaz.

there has been fighters with worse violations and lesser punishments, remember Sonnen´s 3rd strike for PEDs he got a 2 year ban for PEDS!! Diaz has two clean tests that were dissmissed and they handpicked the positive test that was analyzed by a non WADA aproved lab. and they give him 5 years? its ********, it wasnt about justice it was about they punishing a guy they dont like, it was pérsonal.

Anderson Silva gets a year for testing positive twice for PEDs, Chael Sonnen got 2 years after testing positive for PEDs for a permanent ban worthy 3rd time, Jon Jones scores a ridiculously low Testosterone test and no one at the NSAC addresses it, but Nick Diaz gets 5 years for testing positive for MARIJUANA (not PEDs, ******* Marijuana) for the third time???

I'm not even a Diaz fan but this is way excessive I know it's his like 3rd failure but it's weed which is medically legal and recreactionally decriminalized in CA where Diaz lives.

This is the same commission that just a year or 2 ago was handing out testosterone therapy exemptions to people like Todd ******* Duffee, Vitor, Hendo, etc. like my grandpa hands out Mentos. The whole commission is a sham.
