Seems that High vs. Fodor will not be part of a tournament that features Islam Mamedov, Mike Ricci, Joao Zeferino, Rich Patishnock, Jorge Patino, Brian Cobb and the winner of WSOF 23's LaRue Burley vs. Brian Foster.

One final tournament entrant has yet to be announced.

The winner could end up fighting 40 minutes. That's a lot

Joao Zeferino is the former Roufusport BJJ coach,a lot of people don't know that. Not that he's a great fighter or anything.Larue Burley get's in somehow imo and does some damage but doesn't win(my monkey wrench prediction).Always had a soft spot for Brian Cobb.Rich Patishnock and Palomino will be absolute fireworks for 1 minute.Foster looks rededicated and has big potential when he's on point.I remember when he started in the UFC.

There were three guys that all started around the same time that I thought had big potential at WW.Foster,Rick Story and Jake Ellenberger who are all maybe within a year or two in age(maybe a little more idk) but they all had wrestling, grappling and good power.Foster got booted from the UFC for medical reasons but I like that he's at 155,I always thought he belonged there.Patino and Ricci are kind of veterans, atleast as far as big fights, and Islam Mamedov is a monster.Should be a phenomenal tournament,I can't wait!

@Kuma I think Zeferino nows train with the Renzo Gracie camp with the likes of McGeary, Branch and Sapo Natal. I'm interested in watching what he can do in this tournament. He is undefeated at 155 so far.

Thirty five minutes is the most the winner will fight. I wonder if the event willl show all 7 fights on the tv broadcast.

Why would they not? They're gonna show all 7 fights + High/Payan.

As long as they pace it correctly, and give themselves an extra hour just to be safe, they should be okay. They need to stop being WSOF for one event. Don't do 8 replays of the same fight in a row.
