His name has been mentioned so much on this site as of late I figured he needed at least 1 forum thread! His fighter info needs to be updated since he now is fighting out of Ft. Collins, CO and the gym is Trials MMA (which he owns with Ryan Schultz)

Hoping he's starting a nice run and breaks into the top 10 with a couple more wins...He said he wants a little time off, but wants to get one more fight before the end of the year...Who do you guys think that should be?

I'd say the next step is the winner of Alan Belcher/Jason MacDonald or Nick RIng/Tim Boetsch

Either of the matches you mentioned would be great, or the winner of Miller/Palhares!

Miller/Palhares winner would be good too...so many match-ups that would make some sense...I think Alan Belcher would be the best fight and Palhares would be a huge test

If he finished either one of those fighters that would be a HUGE statement to the MW division!

@Thiago, don't make me laugh! You've already proved to me and @Soccer that all of your predictions against Herman are irrelevant! ;) Plus, the American always beats the Brazilian in my world :)

Ya but i wasn't sure of Noke. I now know Herman is for real but Palhares is way too much. he's a ******* animal. Americans always beat Brazilians? Hahaha. I can tell you they dont.

is it not kinda ironic that Da Spyder KG is not with the UFC anymore and now short fuse is moving up the MW ranks. its not always the guy who wins the TUF show that does better in the UFC.

@Wolf thats true, but the UFC did award Herman the same 6-figure contracto too...BTW I feel Herman got screwed out of the SoTN bonus!!

How about Herman vs Weidman. It would give weidman a slight step up from the last guy he fought and would give herman a chance to make a statement by beating a young talented hotshot.

Weidman is fighting Lawlor at 139. otherwise that would be a great fight man!

@Soccer, herman did get screwed out of the SoTN bonus, because they wanted to give Lytle some extra cash for being such an awesome guy while in the UFC. But there's no way Lytle could've been mad at just the 75,000 from FoTN!

And @Thiago, the best win on Palhares' record is Ivan Salaverry! Short Fuse would handle him!

Palhares' only losse are to Hendo and Marquardt, which was his own fault. Dan Miller would be his biggest win to date. I think Dan Miller/Ed Herman would be a great fight. Hamman is available but I hope they don't make that fight for Ed's sake.

Btw, I was impressed with Noke's wrestling. When he took Herman down, I thought he was going to win because I thought Herman's sub game was equal to Noke's...OOPS

Ed, to me, has the ability to beat ANY fighter outside of the top 10 on any given night. Just my opinion. Palhares, Hamman, Weidman, Miller, anybody.
