Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 250 Points   |   Tied for 32nd with 20 others

This is why the ten-point-must system doesn't work for MMA two-round fights!

4 of the 7 decisions were Draws (1 of 5 2x5s going the distance found a winner, 2 of 2 3x5's found a winner)!  I wonder if organizations like Shooto that regularly have fights with two 5 minute rounds will ever even consider sudden death or really anything  to make those in attendance not feel like over 1/3 of the card's fights are unresolved as they head home.

Japanese fans are very different from most fans.

They really don't care about fighter records or decisions ending in draws as long as they're entertained.

You may hear them complain about a decision, but only if it's a decision they don't agree with.

Draws usually aren't the case.

A draw is a perfectly good resolution to a fight in which both fighters were evenly matched. Personally I much prefer them to the wonky all-over-the-place split decisions that happen when the fight should be a draw, but the judges believe that "someone must win" and end up making up random 10-9's for each round.

"If the enemy rejects the ground, I would take him down by tackle. Why didn’t he [Royler] do so? May I introduce him to a good coach? His tackle was... like a girl’s one... Mr. Royler, how are you feeling?" - Kazushi Sakuraba
