Wow, I'm surprised at how different their salaries look as compared to UFC fighters! It's really cool how TPF is so open to the UFC taking their fighters though!

I'm not suprised because unless your in an orginisation like the UFC, Strikeforce and to a lesser extent Bellator and Dream (considering what the latter is going through and seemingly just - slowly - starting to recover), then your not going to be paid that well.

And even in those orgs I just announced, you'd have to be at mid-level at least to start making a decent living and constantly win (espically in Bellator)

8,000 for a title win, Tito made like 250,000 for his fight against Bader.

@swick. after taxes and paying your manager and other mma expenses he might be left with 4100 dollars. pathetic.
@ninja. at least bellator pays 100,000 dollars to the winners of their tournaments. that is a good chunk of change.

This is bad.. but hey.. what other org has a fly weight division?  They don't have a choice.  The UFC is going to acquire 125lbs in 2012... so they'll be getting a nice raise soon.

Tachi Palace Fights is lucky if they are scraping by making a few bucks. It is NOT easy to promote MMA at this level. They don't get a lot of revenue coming in the door, so they can't pay the fighters a lot.

That will change soon @Gregory.. you're absolutely right though.. they don't have a choice right now and they have to accept the pay from TPF.  With Dana saying in 2012, they will start up that division... things will change.. I hope.  There are some awesome athletes in that division... they deserve the UFC scale pay.

@gregory or anybody else. has anyone ever been to that casino in lenmore? casino's in california are more profitable than the ones in las vegas.  people are not taking trips to vegas as much with the bad economy we have. they just goto their local casino in california. i agree, they don't have the kind of money to pay these guys. 2012 is only 6 months away.
