Does anyone know what Foster is like? Does he stand a chance against Shields?

Foster is experienced. Has fought in the UFC before and has some quality wins. The main reason I think Shields will handle him without much issue is due to the fact that every loss Foster has other than one KO loss to Diego Brandao fairly early in his career have been due to submission. I don't think he'll be able to stop Shields from taking him down and eventually locking up a sub. If you want to watch some of his old fights just google "Watch Brian Foster Fights" and click videos. There's a handful of them you can find to scout him a bit if you're interested.

Didn't Brian Foster have like a Brain Hemorrhage or something a few years back?

Yeah he had the Brain Hemorrhage that took him out of competition for a while. It is also the reason he was released by the UFC. He was cleared by a doctor to fight but the commission wouldn't clear him so he couldn't fight in the UFC, Bellator briefly picked him up but had to immediately release him for the same commission issue. He basically fought unregulated or loosely regulated places for a while He finally got official commission clearence very recently which lead to his WSOF signing. If I'm remembering right.

Yeah I thought Foster was going to be something really special. He was doing good and got into the UFC about the same time as Rick Story and Jake Ellenberger,I saw these 3 as all future players in the division with almost the same potential.Foster was a killer but looked like he was dropping behind those two slightly but a better finisher. Before his last fight all of his 21 wins were a finish. After he was let go from the UFC because of the brain thing I think he did like many people would and that's simply not work that hard,I mean would you train like a champion after your dream got stepped on and you're now making peanuts?I don't blame the guy but the fact is he's now too far out of the game to get back and hang at that high high level again imo.I know his potential and he could get back up toward the top but with only about a month notice I give him a punchers chance.

He hasn't looked very good and not too long ago he got smoked by Ninja Roberts who in his next fight lost to Justin ******* Baseman with a performance that was just shameful, like one of those please retire I never want to see you again performances lol.I also keep expecting Foster to drop down to 155 and pretty much always have but he doesn't.He has the tools to knock Jake out,the wrestling/movement to keep it vertical and the all around skills to keep it very competitive but that's going off of potential.I don't think he's on his game anymore and he'll get worked most likely, super dangerous though and I wouldn't be surprised if he gives Jake a ton of trouble with Jakes sloppy td's and style being less effective these days, but I think Jake should take care of him, maybe even easily. This fights still really interesting to me I like the stylistic matchup and the fact that Brian is so scrappy and a great finisher,it's one of those fights i'm pretty sure the favorite will win but nothing would surprise me.Jake will open at around -400 to -550 imo.
