I saw a thread on the UG eluding to this, Middleeasy.com has a SMRM about it today, and Joe Rogan hinted to a "huge announcement" involving WMMA and Ronda Rousey.
rumor is that Rousey/Carano will happen for the 4th of July card.
Thoughts?

I actually remember hearing that the talk of her failing pre-fight medicals was ********.
EDIT: only evidence I can find is from Wikipedia where it says "Initially Strikeforce announced Carano failed her pre-fight medical examination due to an unknown issue and the fight was pulled from the card.Later, it became public that Carano was medically cleared by the Athletic Commission but was removed from the card for unknown reasons."

Its not Carano. That was just something speculated by Meltzer when trying to figure out what Rogan was talking about.
most likely it has something to with a Cyborg announcement

Gina Carano would be a good one only if they squeezed it in real close and keep the fights coming. otherwise just wait for the next opponent

I can't see Cyborg because Dana doesn't know if she can make 135, and that's a big title fight to make with so much uncertainty to risk it.
I can't imagine Kyra Gracie getting her MMA debut against Rousey.
Marloes Coenen is sorta a big name, not sure if she's popular enough to leapfrog Zingano or Davis.
The problem with Gina Carano, just like Cyborg, is that she has never fought at BW. Perhaps they'll fight at a catchweight like they did with Gracie/Hughes.
Same with Erin Toughill, she had a problem making 145.
