Because that is the only way Thiago would come close to beating Bones.

Well he almost killed Vera so that was pretty much a murder almost knocked out Rashad (he would have won the fight had he been able to train wrestling) and knocked out Jardine in a minute and 30 seconds.. Doesnt look too bad to me!... Marshall ? Thiago aint fighting Marshall that is Vera! I didnt?! Haha

Not many.. But basically everyone I know now knows Thiago Silva because I talk about him all the time :) Haha. Really not many though.

Oh yeah lol. I had both their wiki's up and got confused lol.

Well Jones did "kill" Vera and in fact only Bonnar and Andre Gusmão escaped the wrath that is Jones. Well escaped as in made it to a descion. They still got brutalized. Jones has made each oppenent look like stuffed toys being thrown in to be mauled by a lion.

Two things will stop Jones; Age where his speed and reflexes will start to go (look at Roy Jones Jr as the classic example) or mentally he falters. But for a long time I see neither happening.

Vera is the only man to make it decision with Thiago and he got brutalized also! @wolfman.. No I dont :( .. Would love one though!

@ thiago. machida did destroy your fighter. that was a brutal knockout and machida's coming out party after that fight. both guys were undefeated at the time. when is TS coming back to fight?

@thiago. they just released the middleweight tournament for bellator 50. my favorite fighter in bellator is in it again alexander shlemenko. he will win it again and get his shot at hector lombard again. this time its going to end up differently. shlemenko will win a hard fought five round decision. lombard hits as hard as anyone but he could not knock out shlemenko. alexander s. will have a different gameplan this time.

Well if Shlemenko does make it then I may re-evaluate my opinion but till then, I don't see Lombard losing to him.

Bellator has been putting on some great shows and i love the tournament format. i just want them to announce a womens 125 pound tourney. they once said that it would happen.
