Unless Ramage can execute a spinning piledriver, I can't see how he can beat Jones.

I'll admit I love watching Jones fight and would have him probably in my top 5 fighters, but some of his antics have rubbed me the wrong way (like the 2011 champion autograph thing), but after actually meeting Jones it seems that he is a good guy and I was wrong with my views...I'll be moving him into my top fav fighters, but probably still gonna pick Rampage!!

@soccer i know what you mean, i think he is a good guy....i see him as someone who tries too hard to say the right thing, and he also wants to project his positivety and it just don't always come out right. i really just wish he didn't do so many interviews. but i'm sure he turns a lot of them down, he's just the hottest thing in the sport right now so everyone wants an interview

Though Jones not signing replica belts because it looks like his light heavyweight belt is a weird reason (and he gave a slightly jerk reason) as well as other issues that have happened (such as deciding to get surgery and then not getting surgery, thus screwing Rashad even more) I still think people are being too quick to hate on the guy.

I mean Chael Sonnen is pretty much a trolling jerk and yet people think he's MMA's Jesus Christ o_O Tito was the P4P ****** back in his early dominating days and yet his fanbase was huge. And Joe Warren, he's so arrogant even he knows and will boast about it lol.

@themysticalninja people will hate on Jones and other fighters for any little reason they can find. I think a big part of it is him being so young. He's had so much success that people hate on him for that alone. Anybody that successful will have his group of haters and that will never change.

The reason people don't like Jones is pretty simple....

I dont like him at all.  He fights great but i find him very pushy with his "beliefs" and ive never hesitated to comment on that.  I dont want to turn this into another religious debate on here, but thats my main reason.  I also really dont like his over the top ****iness.  Sure he has backed it up very well so far, especially against shogun ( :( ) but signing 2011 champ before it happened is just over the line.  If I never had to hear him speak or see anything he does outside of the ring id like him a ton more.

He seems to be a little too full of himself . . . he can definitely fight, but needs to mature a little more IMO and learn when to keep his mouth shut.

I don't think he went over the line by signing 2011 Champ, i think its just confidence. The biggest thing i question is how he ended up NOT fighting Rashad.... kind of iffy if you ask me. I'm pretty sure next time he goes to a DR Dana will make him use the UFC's doc so he doesn't have these ****** opinions. I think he beats Rampage, but I hope he learns an early lesson ala GSP in defending his title and being overconfident.

i don't think it was that big a deal not signing belts or signing 'champion 2011' but i do think that if it were the other way around and his opponent was signing Champ 2011 (without Jones ever doing it beforehand) Jones would be saying its disrespectful, not confidence.

the same with the belt signing, how can you sign a poster etc, saying you're the champ without having the belt and then moan when people who haven't earned a belt, want one they've bought signed.

i know there was a BIG difference in the fact that he was actually fighting for a belt but the point i'm making is i think he comes across a bit conceited at times

but as Dan said he's backed it up so far and i do enjoy watching him fight
