I dont think Lamas has a chance here. Aldo will dominate and finish.

Lamas has a great chance here. He's very well rounded, and has the motivation he needs to win that title. He's one of the first people that I've heard say "He's just a human being, any one can win on any given night..." He knows he can beat Aldo and he has the mentality of a champion. Sound the alarms, upset of the year right here!

I think the only upset in this fight will be the upset Lamas fans after Aldo continues his reign!

I don't see how Lamas wins this fight.

Prediction: correct Aldo   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 1

Aldo has already faced and beaten better grapplers than Lamas. The only way Lamas can win this fight in my opinion is to catch Aldo with something wild.

Aldo eke's out a decision over Lamas. Lamas was without a doubt his toughest opponent yet. Very controversial decision win for Aldo.

Lamas has been really impressive lately but a year lay off and the fact that he has been knocked out before leads me to believe that Aldo could and perhaps will finish Lamas, if this goes to the later rounds i could see Lamas get better but i haven't seen much of his Cardio.

Though Lamas has been KO'd in the past, he has improved vastly since his last loss, but Lamas isn't fighting just any FW. He's fighting one of the best and most dominate p4p fighters in the world. Jose Aldo is and has still shown that he is a cut above everybody else in the UFC FW division. Lamas is a great fighter, but I just don't see him defeating Aldo. Even if the fight goes into the championship rounds.

Aldo has to have a bad night, and you have to have the best night of your career if you wanna beat this guy. Lamas is a beast, but Aldo is too much for anybody at 145 right now. It doesnt make it to the championship rounds.

Aldo looked better than in the past at the weigh-ins. Reminded me of how he looked when he fought Mendes.

+500 is kind of attractive from a betting perspective, but I'm not going to pick him outright.

@2 nyce I'd be much more shocked to see Aldo get caught.

Prediction: correct Aldo   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 1

Definitely could happen though.
