There are a bunch of decent events that sometimes get passed on so I figured why not do a thread like Poland , Brazil and Japan have.

For those wondering when you'll see Alexander "Storm" Shlemenko fighting again, it won't be soon. After returning to Russia he announced last week that he's going to concentrate on Combat Sambo for now and when he returns to MMA (in an "undisclosed future", probably late 2015), it's going to be at 77 kg (170 lbs) with the aim of getting the Bellator WW belt. He has also attributed his recent two losses (quick submission defeats to American wrestlers, both the rising star Brandon Halsey and the retired 39 year old Tito Ortiz) at least partially to his vegetarian diet, which caused him to lose muscle mass.

Hoping this works out for Storm. He is a really exciting fighter with highlight reel finishes. Whatever works for him, and he comes back new and improved ready to wreck guys at 170

If you enjoyed the knights' fight aka "fight under the historic fencing rules" at the M-1 Challenge 50, you're in for a treat. Apparently Vadim is going full ahead with the idea. The upcoming M-1 Challenge 52 event is going to feature two knights fights in 2 different weight classes (MW / 84 kg and Open / +93 kg). One of them was going to feature a French knight, but he backed out at the last minute for undisclosed reasons. In his place steps up another Russian. Again, neither fight will be pickable.

Apparently Shlemenko doesn't want to put his MMA career on hold after all despite already having a combat sambo bout scheduled. Fight Nights announced today that he's signed the contract to fight Yasubey Enomoto in the main event of Battle 18 in December. Mind you, this fight was already supposed to happen back in July, so I'm still not 100% convinced.

Will Shlemenko's return still be at 170lbs? I'd like to see Shlemenko vs Lima/Daley very much in Bellator.
