There's not an ounce of fat on him at LHW, I can't see this happening.

Haha no worries, I figured. But yeah only two, to big names, in exciting fights.

Te Huna is a mediocre fighter at LHW and he will be a mediocre fighter at middleweight. He CAN make the cut, losing muscle is easier than most people think, but by doing so he will be just as strong as your regular middleweight, if not less.
Some people seem to believe that moving down a weight class is always beneficial, and that is just not true. It CAN be beneficial, and sometimes when you are definitely outside of your natural weight class a move up/down can do wonders, but Te Huna's weight class is LHW. At best, he will be as good a middleweight as he was a light heavyweight, being a little bit faster and a little bit weaker. At worst, he will become too weak for his new division and gain no speed at all. He will have an average reach for a middleweight fighter, something that he doesn't have at LHW, but Te Huna doesn't manage distance that well, and since he is used to having a shorter reach than his opponents, he will probably have no idea on how to use those extra inches.
Some weight class changes are good and some are risky. This one is just plain bad. Like, really bad.
Hell, you know what? I hope this happens. I am now 2/0 in picking against him, and I bet I can find some nice parlays to fit his future opponents in.
EDIT: Actually, he isn't a mediocre fighter. He is heads and shoulders above 99% of professional fighters. I mean mediocre when compared to his UFC peers.

Dude is 6'2'' and built like an ox. He's the posterboy for what a light heavyweight should look like. He's taller or at the same height of all of his UFC opponents except for 2 of them (and Rosa is only an inch taller than him).
I for one don't think the move to middleweight will do much for him ... he's going to end up in the same position. Very good gatekeeper. He'll probably pull a Tim Boetsch, beat a few gatekeepers, maybe steal an "Okami", be talked about as a contender and then lose to the top guys pretty easily.
@Prodigy,
I don't think he's moving to "keep his job", I think he either thinks he has a good chance at 185 or he's a bit worried about the KO's at 205 and believes that even when he loses at 185 it'll be less brutal (I've got a feeling the Shogun KO shook him up a bit and got him thinking). Probably a mixture of both.

I have to agree with @cal1 on this.... If Jones beats Teixeira that's everyone in the top 5 outside of Phil Davis, who i personnaly believe won't be near the same level as Jones on the feet. Then 6-10 shows Shogun, Bader, Sonnen (whom he all destroyed) Lil Nog who hasn't fought in a decade and Dan Henderson who was just brutalized by a MW and happens to be 43. The only thing that stops Jones from dominating will be himself. Personally, i don't think he was at his best in the fight vs Gus and he still won. He looked in the worst shape of his career. Hopefully Jones comes back bettter than ever and we see a move to HW by the end of 2014 (if he stays healthy)
On the side note, how the hell can TeHuna make MW, he's huge!

I still maintain that if Gustafsson can't do it on one can, but he hasn't cleaned out the division just yet. I think that if he finishes 2014 with 3 fights (Glover, Gus and Shad/DC winner) he should move to heavyweight. Not that there's much more talent there, but at least he'll have some fresh names.
