The Del Rosario family and I, and all of our family, teammates and friends thank everyone for their prayers and support. God has a different path for Shane to take and instead has chosen to take Him away from us to be with his forefathers in Heaven. Yet through all of this our Faith in GOD remains unwavering.

Terrible news. I wonder if this is MMA-related. Varner's training partner seemed to pass away under similar circumstances this year.

I think more than MMA related it has something to do with high level athletes, in the last 5 years several atheletes from different sports have died of heart attacks, I believe it can be more related with the type of trainning, several researches have shown that Cardio excersises such as spinning debilitate the heart walls and make people more susceptible to heart attacks

Right, because all loving gods make people suffer and die, no contradiction whatsoever...

Because there's such solid evidence for a heaven, and what heaven? muslim heaven? oh wait, whenever christians talk they assume their conclusions and assume their definition of heaven. The only heaven there is, is here on Earth, we have to make it a heaven with science and technology to one day maybe live so long that we choose when we die. The only one who took Shane away was nature and the choices he made that led him to his condition.

I love the capital lettering, as if that lays credence to his fairy tale, and again, faith in what god? so many choices. Yes, many people like the idea of heaven when their brain is dying but we should get to a place in mankind where we are ready for death when it comes instead of making excuses and presuppositions about death and what they want to happen, like meeting relatives, which is presumptuous because your family could be in christian hell, muslim hell, egyptian hell, it's a crap-shoot. Because the evidence shows that nothing about you survives your death, if you wanted to save Shane the best thing to do would be to promote healthy lifestyle and if you didn't you caused their death indirectly.
