Tapology member Halny has started to send us a lot of updates about happenings in Polish MMA.  He's never posted in the forums, but I'm encouraging him to come here and start providing updates on cards and fighters in Poland.  There's a lot going on in that country!

There is a rumor that Fox Sports is going to be in PL TV. Remember, that UFC without transmision in polish television is a reason why UFC hasn't taken place in my country yet. Fox Sports in PL = UFC in my country :) 

Two news: Tomasz Narkun's protest against judges decision in his fight with Goran Reljic was refused. 

Mamed Khalidov will probably avoid surgery. Remember that Mamed was fighting with back injury with Brett Cooper

Poland seems to be like Brazil in that they have multiple events every weekend. Of course the USA does too but the UFC started there and made the sport popular.

Poland could have multiple events? Maybe after loooooooooooooong time. I think that polish fans should be satisfied if UFC makes one event per year...  

We still don't know how much popular is UFC in PL, Maybe first event will sell a lot of tickets (like WWE in Gdańsk), but we can't be sure that UFC gonna sell every event in polish specific market, where MMA = KSW mainly.

Michal Materla, KSW MW champion told in interview for mmarocks.pl that he is going to fight on KSW 31. Probably this event will take place in Gdańsk, May

Lewandowski (KSW co-owner) told in interview for mymma.pl that it will be 5 events in 2015 and KSW in London can has 33 number (32 is in trailer). He said that Aslambek Saidov, former WW champion, will be back on KSW 30 or KSW

Shrek is fighting Godzilla the day before Christmas in Tokyo after all. This could also go in the Japan thread, but the invasion comes from Poland.

Michał Pasternak made weight before his fight with Rafael Silva on One FC: Dynasty of Champions.

Pasternak 85.5kg (188lbs), Rafael Silva 84.9kg (187lbs). It's a catchweight fight with limit 86.2kg (190lbs).

KSW owners are after first talking with Poznań's President. One of this city citizen said on twitter (@MichGorka), that new President of Poznan doesn't want to "pay huge money for sportevents". Remember, that Plock and Szczecin city authorities - where KSW 18 and KSW 28 took place - gave ~200000-250000 PLNs to organize KSW event in these cities.

Rumor is the next place will be Zielona Góra if organization event in Poznań fails.

I saw that results from Warriors Fight Night 3 are not completed, so:

Szymański won with Mosingiewicz by majority decision
Molka won with Mitka by decision after extra time
Adamczyk won with Konieczny by submission in first round (RNC)

Rozkosz vs. Juszczyk was cancelled, I have no info about reason.

Pawel Nastula - Judo Olimpic Champion, Pride FC and KSW veteran official retired from MMA. 

Michał Pasternak has injury (knee) and he will probably pause one year from MMA. This info will be updated.

Wojsław Rysiewski - KSW employee and former mmarocks.pl editor in chief - told in podcast "Szklana Szczeka Show" that fight Pasternak vs. Grochowski is out from PLMMA: Wielki Finał. He doesn't know about fight Strzelczyk vs. Radziszewski but there is no official info from PLMMA about that.

Like I informed, Grochowski vs. Pasternak is out but I don't have any details about reasons. We have to remember that I'm writing about PLMMA, changes in fightcards are usual in this organization

Hey dude, a couple of notes:

The reason for cancelling the BW title fight at PLMMA 45 is the injury Grochowski sustained in training sometimes last week.

The fight between Strzelczyk and Radziszewski was announced some time over a month ago (early November) through mmania.pl, which is always first with PLMMA news (to the point of being called plmmania by some Polish fans). It's not surprising that someone would not know about it, in the past Mirek Okniński would announce fights or opponent changes that even the fighters would not know about (as he says, "I'll book 12 fights, so maybe 6 would take place, since something always happens to someone"). You can find this fight listed here for example - repeated after mmania. iirc Radziszewski was injured previously and was hoping to make it to the fight, but apparently won't be able to.

I usually wait with cancelling or rescheduling PLMMA bouts (except for the televised cards) until the last moment to be sure, because (as mentioned above) changes happen to them for various reasons up to that very last moment (including changing the actual date of an event, like happened last month), during the weigh ins and sometimes after the weigh ins. It also happened in the past that fights that were supposed to happen weren't reported and were thought to be cancelled until the videos of them resurfaced a week later. Trust me, everything will and does get updated sooner or later, even if it sometimes takes a bit more time to verify.

Szymański actually beat Mosingiewicz at WFN 3 via a Split Decision after the extra round - 2 judges pointed to his win in the extra round and the third to Mosingiewicz (it would be a Maj. with 2x10-9 and one drawn score). In case of extra rounds the scores for the previous two aren't counted and only the result of the 3rd one does. If it was the other way, the fight would be a draw, since the scores for the original 2 rounds were 2x20-20 and 1x20-19 for Mosingiewicz, so the end result with all 3 added would be 29-28, 29-29 and 28-29 for a Split Draw. Nope. That will be either Beslan Isaev or Musa Khamanaev (against a TBA) in their last fight before the UFC.
