Clay Guida used to be an exciting fighter that I loved watching fight. The last fight of his where I could say he was remotely close to exciting, was his submission victory over Takanori Gomi. Since then, I wince every time I see his name in a match-up, because all he does is dance around, run away, and if all else fails, a whole bunch of lay 'n' pray and wall 'n' stall tactics that will just bore the **** out of any MMA fan.
Chad Mendes is a fighter who has really put on a clinic of power and excitement. Since his loss to UFC FW Kingpin Jose Aldo, Mendes has won 3 straight by vicious highlight reel 1st round KO/TKOs. I hope for the same thing in his fight against Clay Guida. Guida won't be able to hold or contain Mendes in any way. Which I'm hoping will force Guida to fight like the Guida of old, and hopefully create one of the greatest fights of 2013. If all else fails, knowing Mendes, at least it has the possibility to be another great KO of the Night finish for Chad "Money" Mendes.

Hopefully they will cancel each others wrestling, and we will see a great striking match. But I also think that Mendes will loose his composition when he finds out that he can't connect with his shots.
On the betting side, i would probably bet on "Going the distance" :)
