Fights Rey Trujillo on July 19th.

According to reports, it is a multi-fight deal and LFC will allow him to go right back to the UFC if he can get an offer from them. Great deal for Leonard.

This will be good for Leonard Garcia. I take nothing away from the guy. He is an exciting fighter, but he needs to work a whole bunch on his technique. It is possible to be an exciting fighter as well as a technical one.

Rey Trujillo is a good match up for Leonard Garcia at this point in his career. Rey has a decent chance of an upset.

I'm not familiar with Trujillo but I'm guessing he's going to happily go to war with Leonard... It just seems like Leonard is going to fight tough guys who will put on good fights as opposed to actually testing himself against guys who will focus on his weaknesses.

It defeats the purpose of going to a new camp if you're going to fight guys tailor made for the style that got you 5 losses in a row and cut from the UFC in the first place. He'll fight some tough guys in some exciting fights and then get completely outclassed in the UFC when everyone is too good and too smart to get dragged into his shtick.

Garcia never hesitated going toe-to-toe with anyone, but was never really a top ten fighter, yet alone UFC fighter. Hopefully, he will get some wins under his belt and retire in the next few years.

Rey Trujillo is 14-10 and knows how  to strike .. and fairly good. Doesn't have any real 'impressive' wins on his resume, but he will definitely go to war with Garcia.
