It's a pretty bad event too. Considering most of the fighters on the card have fought in MMA fights before, one would've expected the matches to be a lot better than they actually were and one would've expected them to have added a sense of reality feel to the fights, yet they it made it pretty obvious it was all a fixed event.
Nagai vs. ***e, Takayama vs. Sato and Suzuki vs. Nijman were pretty horrible even by pro-wrestling standards.
If given the chance, don't waste your time watching this event.
If anything, just skip to Kanehara vs. Kondo which was good compared to the rest.

HEAT 26 Weigh In Results
Peterson Chacal (Peterson Almeida Viela) failed to make weight on his 3 attempts. First he weighed in at 86.1 kg, then on his second chance he weighed in at 85.5 kg and then on his third attempt and last one he weighed in at 85.3 kg.
The HEAT NEW AGE fights are usually fights for rookies, that's why they're at a catch weight that both fighters can make and are 2 rounds x 4 minutes instead of the standard 2 rounds x 5 minutes.

The fight takes place at PXC 37 on May 18 in the Philippines.
For those wondering, it's been a slow couple of days in the JMMA organizations, that's why I haven't posted anything in recent days.
I fully expect a lot of news to appear soon since there's a lot of JMMA events taking place this month.

Good move for Aoki, bad move for ONE FC, because there's a big chance he beats Boku, wins the lightweight title and then has to vacate it due to moving down the featherweight.
If Kawajiri can make featherweight, I don't see how Aoki can't.
Aoki's a little taller than Kawajiri and Kawajiri has more muscle than Aoki.
I like Aoki's chances at featherweight better than at lightweight, although both divisions are stacked everywhere.
I think a move to America would be better for both guys at featherweight at this point although I'd say Kawajiri's wrestling is more suited for American MMA at this point than Aoki's judo and BJJ grappling.

145 might be better for him.

Wow, don't see lot of 145'ers who can give Aoki trouble outside Bellator and the UFC. Kawajiri's style translates better b/c he has arguably the best top control in MMA, whereas Aoki is sometimes content to pull guard and work of his back and we know how that's scored sometimes. The way Kawajiri can keep guys down, control them and slowly transition is a thing of beauty. Just wish he was more active.
