Charlie Brenneman ‏@SpaniardMMA

I'll be returning to the cage Jan 19 in Altoona, PA as a lightweight. In my eyes, I'm 0-0. Ready to get this new career started!

This will make Anik very happy I believe.

It's also a easy decision pick, if he fights a journeyman...

Charlie could for sure be a fringe top 10 lw in the UFC. He's a really good wrestler and a hell of a tough fighter. Hope to see him back in the UFC soon.

I, too, celebrate Charlie's return to us, if the UFC is savvy enough to bring him back home.  I just hope Charlie can be effective after such a weight cut.  He didn't have that much flab to spare.

But I definitely want him back home with us, where he belongs.

Was never really a huge fan or anything, but I never had anything against Charlie. Hope his new weight cut doesn't suck, best of luck to him.

Good wrestlers are hard to find.  And wrestlers with the heart to take up MMA training are something special, not to be thrown away.  Should be embraced, encouraged, and given every training assistance.

No, I disagree.  The most boring fighter I ever watched, and was my least favorite UFC fighter was Mark Coleman.

You knew he was going to shoot and that took away any possible interest in the fight.  You knew it was coming and it was painful, SO BORING.  And he had NO submissions to spice his ground attack.  Just mediocre ground and pound.

Man I hated watching that man fight.

Nope. At least he threw punches from the top instead of laying there.

Yes, Coleman was my most boring fighter ever.  Everyone has one and he is mine.  His ground and pound was not interesting or entertaining to me.  Just my own personal prejudice.  Nothing more.

He'll be a real strong wrestler at 155...I think this is a good move for him.

Listen Mr. Brenneman, If you read on Tapology listen to me because I know whats best for you and I know what you need to do.

Going to 155lb could be a very good career move

however not if you plan on doing what you did at 170lb

What did you do at 170lb, you ask me?

Well I'll tell you

You used your wrestling and your wrestling alone.

It seemed as if you don't work on your stand up at all

Now that needs to stop,Mr. Brenneman

You need to stop training wrestling because you are better than most at it

Whats hurting you is that you shoot from the other side of the cage because you don't have any stand up

You can't shoot at people from the other side of the cage,Mr. Brenneman

Work on your stand up, BBJ and stop wrestling because you dont need to work on it

got it?

good

Good advise, JM.  He needs to work on his roundedness.  He needs to make his weak areas stronger, not make his strong area better.
