I think Mark Hunt can KO Struve with one punch, but I also think Struve could probably pull guard and submit hunt whenever he wants.  Leaning towards the latter.

I was thinking Hunto until the weigh ins. Hunto had to cut to go down to 266, not really a good sign. He still has a chance to win it in the first 3 minutes or so but after that I think it's going to be all Struve.

Struve will be going for subs and wrestling, he always tries to slow fights down when he gets hit.

Dang. He's gonna gas pretty quick. For some reason, I thought he usually weighed in the 250s, according to his weigh in record, he hovers at 265

Hunt is overweight he's 38 years old and has a 8-7 mma record. Struve is a young hungry monster who's on a 4 fight win streak with 4 finishes and is getting better with each fight. Is this pick really that difficult to make?

Struve can easily take this. But he always starts pretty slow and I think Hunt is pumped to fight in Japan again. Plus his ground game isn't nearly as bad as Lavar's. If Struve tries to bang at all, he's going down.

I like how people keep bringing up Hunt's record, he fought some bad ************s and he admitted to hardly training and not giving a **** in Pride and Dream. He seems to be motivated now though. Also his ground game isnt as bad as people make it out to be, he gave Wandy and Fedor some strong resistance on the ground

Struve's problem wasn't that he has a horrible chin, it's that he didn't cover up. If you fight in the HW division, you better keep your hands up. Seemed to do much better against Barry, Johnson and Miocic in that department.

Struve did what he needed to do in the Lavar Johnson fight. He should, I believe, be able to get it done here too.

Struve will pick hunt apart standing and eventually work in a sub after rocking/hurting hunt. By the end of this fight everyones going to wonder what the **** hunt was doing in the UFC.

@curtwag yeah Struve has been KO'd a few times by heavy handed fighters. Hunt is heavy handed. However the last time Struve got knocked out was almost 2 years ago. He's improved his stand up tremendously. I could easily post gifs of Hunt getting his ass beat too. Doesn't matter much. Struve is on his way up and Hunt is trending down.

I think people are seriously overrating Struve stand up here. The idea struve will be winning the stand up to me is very far fetch.  Hunt is significantly more skilled and experience striker. Struve may win through his ground game, but to say he will be picking Hunt apart seems far fetched. Hunt striking is on another level. Hunt very if ever gets out striked. Even in his loses he was beating the crap out of his opponents standing.

He won't be ''winning'' the stand-up. He'll be ''dominating'' the stand-up.
