"Swedish UFC veteran Per Eklund was set to face Joni Salovaara at the Vision FC 5 “Super Show” on the 1st of December in Stockholm. But now according to Salovaara, the Swede has injured himself and is out of the fight. The promotion now has even a higher ranked opponent signed to replace Eklund but the name of Salovaara’s new opponent hasn’t been published yet."

“Unfortunately the day has been marred with controversy after Martin Svensson failed to make weight in his highly anticipated match up against Niklas Backstrom in the VISION featherweight division. Svensson failed to get below 69.5kg and the fight is now off. Svensson is notorious for cutting a huge amount of weight for his fights, being a huge fighter in the featherweight division at around 6ft 3″ in height.”

it also says on there that the match between Carlos Prada and Frantz Siloa may be off, after Prada failed to submit his medical papers, and that there is a delay to the start of the event due to technical difficulties.
