training at team punishment has got to strengthen a jaw quite a bit. spyder should be able to take some hits, get it to the ground, and use his lanky limbs to secure a submission in round 2, after tim has tired out a bit.

Whoever loses this one is gone. Personally, I believe Da Spyder is going to sleep then going to the unemployment line. You just can't spend a career barely hanging on.

Grove uses his long limbs and catches a submission

Wow, just watched the weigh-ins, Boetsch looks ripped.

I see Boetsch catching Grove with a big shot at some point.

Tim used to gas as a not so in shape LHW, I don't know about him at 185... the weight cut maye drain his limited gas tank even further.

Tim needs to work on his weight cut, but he pretty much had his way with Grove tonight. I just wish he had some more gas in the tank.

Tonight's fight proves that Boetsch needs to work on his cardio, submission defense, his striking, and his weight cut. Grove might need to go to WW, if he can make the cut, or go back to the B-league orgs, and re-develop or completely go back to the drawing board. Everywhere he tried to make something happen tonight Grove failed.

As for Boetsch, he looked above par for his first time fighting at 185, but if he's going to continue to fight at this weight, he needs to work on his overall game and find a better way to cut weight. He'll do fine against the cans, but will fail against the top tier fighters if he continues forward like he did tonight.
