Vinicius Magalhaes is best known to UFC fans for his unsuccessful bid for the crown in TUF 8. He was knocked out in the live finale by Ryan Bader, who has since climbed into the top ten LHW rankings. Since getting cut from the UFC in 2009, Magalhaes has gone 6-1, with his only loss coming by way of decision. Additionally, he has won four fights in a row and has finished all of them.

Personally, given his inexperience when he was signed by the UFC in 2009, I think Magalhaes's file should be looked over again by Joe Silva, especially if he notches a win over a recognizable veteran in his next bout. Unfortunately, if he's under contract with M-1, I don't expect them to be able to find the right name for him to make it back onto the main stage.

What say you?

I think he should definatly be resigned, I think it would be great so see him fight some of the guys in the UFC

I think he has to work on his conditioning.  He was gassed bad in that 2nd round and after two rounds it was 1/1.  His grappling is absolutely amazing though.  This was the 1st time I watched him since the UFC days and I was very impressed with his sub action.. always moving and hunting.  I feel he should defend his title (since he just won it) and then, perhaps, given another look.
