In my opinion, no. He has a ridiculous amount of heart, goddam. Give him 1 more shot.

He's been fighting the best up-and-comers in the division.Give him a normal not debuting monster and he should be able to hold up pretty well.So in my opinion he deserves to stay.

He's been fighting tough competition lately. I say give the guy another shot, Kingsbury is tough as hell.

I am usually against cutting a fighter unless he is either boring to watc like say Antonio McKee, or unable to even put up a fight, like say Joe Stevenson. I mean, to expect every fighter to win frequently is sort of absurd, seeing as how only 50% of the people invovled in any given fight win said fight.

I'm partially with Ben on this one, but why not just move him to Strikeforce?
I'm all against cutting fighters too, but when you want to build the world's elite fighting promotion, there are standards to meet. I'm not talking about KK here but in general.

I mean, there are a lot of fighters in the UFC who are still competitive but cant handle young or elite talent but still put great fights, I think that just like in any other sport, such athletes should migrate to the minor leagues (Strikeforce) for one last run. Heck, some even could still hold belts at SF while in the UFC they're just sparring bots for the up and comers. This could also enrich the thinning SF roster and could even help increase ratings by bringing in beloved MMA veterans that we fans don't want to see get beat up by new generations of fighters.

I say instead of getting rid of the rampages, griffins, wanderleis, bonnars, soszynzkys, etc give them one last run at strikeforce where they can still be competitive and let us fans watch them a couple more years.

Kingsbu and Damarques should be kept around...they've stepped up against the wolves, and even though they've lost, they always come to fight.

No reason to cut him. He stepped up against a big favourite who was expected to run him over, kept standing and won the second round - and seeing how Manuwa was fading who knows what would've happened in the third if it wasn't for the doctors. A lot of fighters wouldn't even last that first round or gave up by themselves before the second.

Agreed with the majority here!  Give him another go!  The level of competition he's fought recently is excellent and yeah while he's lost those fights, he deserves to stay!

Should have got FOTN. As long as Kingsbury keeps fighting the way he did the other night, Zuffa should keep him on in some capacity. Think of how many fighters they've cut who are on the verge of getting re-signed (or already have). Since this is the entertainment business, it makes no sense to cut fighters who are decidedly entertaining.

Same goes for Roy Nelson, Akiyama, Stephens, Gomi, Fisher and even Garcia (I can't believe I just said that).

Kingsbury should be cut.

If Charlie Brenneman's getting cut, then Kingsbury definitely should be getting cut. If Charlie Brenneman's getting cut, why the **** do Kingsbury and DaMarques around? If Charlie Brenneman's getting cut, why the **** does Amir Sadollah still have a job? If Charlie Brenneman's getting cut, why wasn't Dan Hardy ******* cut?

Kingsbury has fought two back to back "debuting" fighters who most hardcore fans knew were brutal. Try finding another well rounded Light Heavyweight who could have stood with Manuwa and Texiera for as long as he did. Brandon Vera would have gotten ****d, Vinny Magz caught a mad break by not fighting either of em and even Phil Davis would get thrashed by either of these dudes.

I honestly think he should be given one more shot but not a charity match by any means. Why not put Kingsbury against Igor Pokrojac or loser of Prado vs Davis?

No, dudes bringing back the fanny-pack alone.

Should at least get another fight versus Nick Penner or Roger Hollett.
