Rory is a beast, of course he has a chance he's the favorite actually. And no, he is is not like GSP, he is a more dangerous finisher than "his protege" already but he does not have GSP like takedowns yet nor his striking.

Just watch the condit vs rory fight. And then watch the GSP vs condit fight. THAT WAS 2 YEARS AGO. GSP himself even said he's made tons of improvement. And in my mind, if he has improved past what he looked like in that fight. He is better then GSP. He controlled condit 10x better then GSP did, other then that third round. he was also outboxing him until the third round. Rory is on par with GSP's wrestling, his striking might not be as technical, and when I say technical I mean he doesn't have as good as a jab. But his power boxing is certainly better and perhaps his overall striking has since mills also. And I'd be willing to bet their BJJ is even also. Rory is going to surpass GSP in terms of skill within the next year if he already hasn't. As i said.

You'd be ******** to think rory isn't possibly as skilled as GSP. Atleast in the areas I stated

MMA math doesn't work here. I don't care about accomplishments. It isn't about that, rory is a warrior. GSP isn't

@elite If you notice, I'm not calling you names. I'm giving you your respect. If GSP were to move up, vacating the title, I think the strongest candidates for his belt would be Fitch, Condit and Rory MacDonald. I don't think Nick Diaz would be able to beat any of those three. And I just don't see Johny Hendricks being able to beat any of them, either, despite his win over Fitch.

If Johny and Fitch were to fight 10 more times, I think Fitch would beat him 10 times. Laugh all you want, but that is exactly what would happen. Now that Fitch would be ready for him, Johny would be beaten every time.
