Does this mean he think he deserves a title shot .... Really?

"Nate’s on a roll; I think he’ll pull it out. If he does, I know he was begging for me for a long time, but for me I was looking at the title and that’s a fight that would be a great fight for the title. I’d like to do the TV show against him if that’s the case. For me as of now, it’s about going up against the top guys. Like I don’t care about paydays, and stuff like that. Right now it’s about beating the top guys and getting the belt. I did a lot of work all the way till now and I’m at the top. I need that belt, and I switched up a lot of stuff to do that. I changed gyms, did everything I could, so when the opportunity happens I’ll be prepared for it."

Gray has lost a step on his single and double leg and provides no "scary" power to worry Diaz. This fight is a wash and makes no sense for Nate. His counter punching and sub defense/ offense are too much for Gray. Nate's reliance on his heavy front foot are something to worry about, however Nate can recover from terrible positions and I believe he could reverse any position Gray would put him in. Even if
Gray stays in half guard, Nate's activity throwing punches and elbows, along with sub attempts, should negate anything Gray tosses his way. (Hopefully the judges won't be the same as Angel Torres and D. Johnson).

Terrible match, and Nate deserves better.

Give Gray 3-4 wins before he gets a beast like Nate.

He gets hits too much and since his chin is gone, he is done for. I really like him, too.
