I enjoy watching Browne fight a lot and this is the kind of fight he really needs to get his career to escalate.

Prediction: wrong Browne   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 1

Realistically, Silva needs to take this to the ground and Browne needs to keep it on the feet. Browne is 3'' taller but Silva has a 2'' reach advantage, though he hasn't seemed to use it very well, a bad thing considering he has faced many heavy-handed guys.

Standing up, Browne has the better chin and power which, if used, will quickly endanger Silva, who has looked, honestly, not good in the Cormier fight and terrible in the Velasquez fight. I expected both, but I thought he would look better than he did. Silva cannot afford to take shots here, especially because I have no qualms about Browne's chin and because a big finish by Browne will benefit him greatly, and he knows this.

On the ground, Browne is at a clear disadvantage and he knows that. Silva must be careful if it clinches up though because I would honestly be impressed if he lasts through 2+ Browne uppercuts.

Bigfoot has never impressed me with his TDs, and combining the facts that 1) Browne will work to keep it standing and that 2) Silva has yet to face someone as big as Browne, especially at this level, I feel confident in a Browne pick.

I'm not counting Silva out, but a loss to Browne doesn't "make sense", plus Browne is undefeated and Silva is on a 2 fight skid with 2 knockouts; I'm pretty confident on a finish, and I think Silva will be (t)ko'd before round 3. I like Silva but Browne is goin' places.

I've never been sold on Bigfoot.  He's been overrated since BARELY squeaking by LHW Mike Kyle and beating a declining Fedor.  Browne will maul him.

Silva will lose because Silva is S-L-O-O-O-W ....

Prediction: wrong Browne   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 1

In his wins he usually relies on being much bigger than his opponent ... In this case, he isn't.

He's very slow, as most people with his condition (Acromegaly) are ...

He looks like a nice and kind giant, but he has no place among the top echelon of UFC HWs (which is where Travis Browne looks to be headed).

He will once again be brutalized ...

@justynbomar I agree, I always thought Bigfoot sucked too lol. He's just really big, that's all he's got going for him.

I don't think he sucks, but he isn't a top HW. People view his win over Fedor as putting him towards the top of the heap.

Because Bigfoot beat Fedor and fought the #1 contender a win for Browne will probably put into the title picture and give him more opportunities to get bigger fights. That being said I think Browne belongs in the cage with the best HW's in the UFC and I don't see this going past 2 rounds.

This will be a very big test for Travis Browne, and we'll find out if Antonio Silva was ever the real deal, or if he was a mediocre fighter who just had a few lucky breaks. Either way the fight goes, we'll see what both fighters are really made of.

There is a fight I have been asking for since months ago ... Browne beats Bigfoot, Miocic beats Struve, then have them fight. Battle of  the undefeated Heavyweight prospects, that would be a damn good fight.

@ MikeLovesTacos - very much agreed with you there. If Browne beats Silva and Mioccic beats Struve, then hell yeah. A battle of undefeated HWs would be sick.

Though that huge chin does occasionally fail him I'm thinking he can pull off a crafty submission victory once the fight reaches the later rounds

For whatever reason i think that Bigfoot will fight smart and take it to the ground ASAP.  where he will absolutely destroy Browne.

Having said that i will not be surprised if Bigfoot still thinks he is an elite striker and stands with Browne long enough to get KTFO.

In the end i don't like either, so i will have no problem with one of them losing. both are douchbags.
