ive been torn. SIlva has some good wins, and Browne doesnt. I think im going to change. I think Silva grinds him out.

@brazilian jitz, i've been torn as well, but i think browne will just outwork him on the feet pretty quickly. to be honest, i don't have any real good reasoning to give you as to why i think that. gut feeling.

He thinks Silva grinds him out.. yet he picks Browne via 1st round TKO... I'm confused.

I do think that Travis Browne has a bright future, but I'm not taking him for this fight. What worries me about him is his endurance. If you aren't convinced, watch his fight against Rob Broughton. Browne can punch for days, but when the fight hits the ground he starts lagging. I project Bigfoot tiring him out over the first couple rounds, and donkey-kong pounding him to victory.

Their staredown was awesome... but Silva turned away first, thus he loses.

My money's on Brown

Prediction: wrong Browne   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 2

My money's on Brown. Bigfoots usual advantage is his size and overwhelming power but Brown is like a bigger version of Velasquez. He's way too athletic and bigfoots head is too easy a target.

@Marc0427  Remember that the Broughton fight was in Denver; the altitude really does take a lot out of you.  He may have some cardio issues aside from that, but we haven't really seen it.  Regardless, Bigfoot's shot at winning this hinges on his ability to take Browne to the mat whether it will gas him or not, and I don't think he'll be able to.  Browne gets the T/KO.

Gotta back my boy here. I think this is a better match up than people give it credit for. Browne is good but he's flawed, I think Bigfoot can take him down.

Silva is a slow and plodding HW and Brown should get a tko tonight before the end of the 2nd round is over ..... I'll be surprised if this fight goes beyond the 2nd round. I also don't think Silva can take Brown down and keep it there and if they clinch Brown will do damage with the knees and uppercuts.

No. I'm talking about his hype. which was completely undeserved. like this for example "Brown is like a bigger version of Velasquez" ***?

is he a good fighter? yes but he won't come close to breaching the top 5.

I think he deserves it. Was 13-0-1 leading up to this fight with a 1st round KO of Struve and went to a draw with Kongo his 2nd fight in the UFC.

Travis Browne is a tough fighter and I don't think this loss will take too much away from his "hype".

Browne's still a stud in the HW division, just had a bad night.  Happens to everyone.

He clearly injured his knee in this fight.  Can't deny it put him at a severe disadvantage.

pretty sure Brown tore an ACL or MCL there maybe just a strain but not looking good for him being back in soon.
