Such a great fight this is almost as good as the main event, I like watching both guys. Palhares said he lost his last fight because he had the flu and couldn't perform How full of BS he is I am not sure or whether Belcher just really shut him down and had his number. I think Okami has more tools to work with he has a great stand up and his ground game is nothing to frown on either his last fight was impressive until he found out that uppercuts really hurt when they hit you in the head.

Honestly, Okami just isn't that good. If he takes Palahares down, he's gonna get subbed. If he stands with him, his weak chin won't hold up against Palahares heavy hands.

I think Okami´s carrer can hit a dead end if he looses this fight if he does I don´t think he´ll ever fight for a title again not in the UFC at least, he is not getting better that he already is and he is on a 2 fight loosing streak and soon could be 3, so the only thing left for hime besides retirement its become a gate keeper, if he looses.
On the other hand Palhares will either consolidate his career with a big win against Okami or reveal himself as a middle tier fighter, he desperatly needs to improve his ground defense, because despite of his elite BJJ he looked helpless against Belcher, it reminded me of Brock Lensar getting hitted by Cain. Okami is a big guy and he won´t submit him easily, this very well could end exactly as Palhares last fight.

Okami will avoid going anywhere near Palhares' world for the first round and then Okami will catch him with a knee in the 2nd when Palhares shoots in with a frustrated and very careless TD attempt.

It's a tossup and depends on who will end up on top. Palhares has no defence when someone is on top of him. Correction, he has no defense anywhere he just attacks. Fortunately Okami is not that dangerous in terms of ending the fight prematurely.

Difficult fight to pick here. I Palhares has really good submissions, and Okami has really good wrestling and control. I don't think that we're going to see a stand-up war here. Right now, I'm going with Okami by decision.

I love Palhares, but i think he's slightly overrated. He's ok on the feet, has decent wrestling, and just happens to be incredible at leglocks. I don't think he can take Okami down, so this could stay on the feet unless Palhares pulls guard (he's done it a bunch of times before). I think even if it hits the mat, Okami's never been tapped, but i also don't think Okami's fought someone like Palhares. Still, i think Okami will bounce back here, and get a decision win, or possibly a TKO.
