I think Boetsch will give him a good fight in the 1st round but maybe take a few big punches, and I think Lombard will possibly TKO him in the 2nd-3rd. I'm a big fan of Lombard though haha, I like Boetsch aswell...will be a very interesting fight nonetheless!

I think Lombard should transition well into the UFC; though his lack of competition is not encouraging, his dominance and consistency is. There are too many heavy hands in this fight for it to go three full rounds, so Boetsch would be very, very wise to keep the distance, pick shots, and play it safe, because his chin doesn't appear to be as good as Lombard's and because his size advantage is his best bet, without a doubt. Lombard should come in aggressive, which will probably get him an early TKO or at least a knockdown.

This isn't a good fight for Lombard. Boetsch doesn't have a huge name and is very capable of winning this fight and derailing the Lombard train for good

This is definitely a closer fight than some people might think. Lombard has better wrestling, striking and submissions but as Boetsch shown in his last outing never count him out of a fight; he is incredibly tough and has knockout power! I cant see Lombard finishing Boetsch but I imagine he will decisively beat him in all areas of the fight. The only way I believe Boetsch can win is if Lombard gasses in the later rounds as hes known to do and Boetsch surprises us all with a come from behind KO again.

IM picking tim, i love the guy and he did me well against okami. Lombard is a destroyer but it is his first ufc fight so who knows.
