Back in January he reported having a serious back injury that could potentially cause him to retire. I know he was going through rehab in the middle of this month.

Kenflo was awesome, i hate seeing him retire, but he's had an amazing run. 17 UFC fights, 3 title shots, only lost to really good competition, (drew fickett's the only guy who beat florian and didn't either win or fight for a UFC title), like a couple others say, i think kenflo was one of, if not the, best fighters who never became champion!
