THE GREATEST TAPOLOGIST EVER: THE FIRST ROUND

THE WAIT. IS OVER.


That's right fellow Tapologists, the long build up is finally over as I (with the help of theMMAmessiah) present to you The Greatest Tapologist Ever, a contest that will decide who is the biggest contributor in Tapology's history, decided by you of course.

Here's how it'll go, a bracket has been set up with all 32 seeds (established in the first week of March and modified last week) who will have a chance to claim the title. Moderators are ineligible for this tournament. The higher-tier members were matched up with the lower-tier members and the mid-tier members were matched up with each other, I tried to make these brackets as fair as possible in order to create a competitive Final Four match up.



There will be posts following this one that will include the match ups and a small biography of each member. Thumbs up the post to vote for the first member of the post, thumbs down the post to vote for the second member on the post. If there is a tie, the power rests at the hands of yours truly. Voting will end on Sunday, May 6 at 8PM. If you have any questions, ask on my comment board.

And remember guys, vote on who's contributed more for Tapology not who you like more. By the way, I posted a link to this thread on every seed's channel board so they know what's happening.

@mmamessiah, because I haven't been around a lot recently and I only recognize some members by their av's so I need a minute to figure out for sure who everyone is. Plus to be honest there are a few people who I don't know and I don't want to vote for/against them if I can't even remember their posts and stuff. Then there were one or two where I really didn't want to choose. I'll probably vote on the rest at some point, and I'll post who I vote for.

I'll go with OldManGloom, I like T0rch too but Gloom has a lot more posts and I think he's probably contributed more. Not an easy one to pick

I can't pick on the Yorma/MikeLovesTacos one, I like both of them and don't really know who I like more so I won't be voting.

mulefloyd and itfigures won in narrow margins.

Had to vote for mmamessiah because even though we disagree on probably every aspect of MMA he does contribute a lot to the site

Voted for jaykool, I do like soccerkick a lot too though, but jaykool's 10 point breakdowns are awesome, and soccerkick got really mad when Nog beat Schuab. 

I think that's everyone? Again no disrespect to any of you. If I didn't vote for you there is a good chance I would of if you were against someone else. I love you all :)

Wolfman over prodigy, I like both guys but Wolfman does a lot for the site. 15,000+ posts is crazy

Thiago over Kerr, Thiago hasnt been on as much as he used to be (at least I dont see as many of his posts) but he is a long time member and a funny dude.

Poir over Jaffa, a tough one but Poir does a bit more with the forum games

Hd over Rorschach, I havent seen rorschach much lately but he got a pretty bad draw. Hd does a ton for the site from grand prixs to videos

Swick over dielegende, both have great taste in hip hop so its hard to choose one but Swick is more active and is always informed on all things 209, Joe Rogan, and Eddie Bravo

Yorma over Mike, Mike does quite a bit for the forum but Yorma is just on another level. Yorma is the fastest BB and always knows how to lighten the mood

Wake over Beastmaster, poor Beastmaster lol

Alias over RWL, Alias is probably a top 5 poster for me and that Minowa AV is just too amazing to pick against

Didnt vote on Anik/Live2 for obvious reasons

Cash over Nik, a very tough matchup, Cash gets the edge because of his great blog

Gloom over Torch, another very tough one but Gloom gets the edge for creating the Fantasy Football league and for having over twice as many posts

Soccerkick over Jay, I like Jay's breakdowns but Soccerkick wins by being the 2nd most active member ever

Messiah over Lopati, I personally prefer Lopati's posts but Messiah has done a lot for the forum games and grand prixs

Kallous over Michigan, I like both guys but Kallous wins by being a lot more active

Mule over Buffalo, Mulefloyd is quite a few belt levels higher and is one of the best pickers on the site

Fresno over Itfigures, another tough one but Fresno takes the win by being a lot more active

Cash over Nik, as funny as Nik is, CashBrewyn's a captain of a team and a more important contributor

Messiah over Lopati, Lopati is another one of my favorites but messiah's contest is the most important on the site
Kallous over michigan, kallous is in the same league as wolf and Soccer

Fresno over ItFigures, one of the most active members on the site, he posts and picks since day 1. The former fastest black belt, the fastest member to reach a thousand posts, etc etc
