THE GREATEST TAPOLOGIST EVER: THE FIRST ROUND

THE WAIT. IS OVER.


That's right fellow Tapologists, the long build up is finally over as I (with the help of theMMAmessiah) present to you The Greatest Tapologist Ever, a contest that will decide who is the biggest contributor in Tapology's history, decided by you of course.

Here's how it'll go, a bracket has been set up with all 32 seeds (established in the first week of March and modified last week) who will have a chance to claim the title. Moderators are ineligible for this tournament. The higher-tier members were matched up with the lower-tier members and the mid-tier members were matched up with each other, I tried to make these brackets as fair as possible in order to create a competitive Final Four match up.



There will be posts following this one that will include the match ups and a small biography of each member. Thumbs up the post to vote for the first member of the post, thumbs down the post to vote for the second member on the post. If there is a tie, the power rests at the hands of yours truly. Voting will end on Sunday, May 6 at 8PM. If you have any questions, ask on my comment board.

And remember guys, vote on who's contributed more for Tapology not who you like more. By the way, I posted a link to this thread on every seed's channel board so they know what's happening.

In terms of a personality contest, I expect Alias to win.  Stats-wise, I've got him beat though.  However, for the purpose of this competition, I'll submit a respectable vote for Alias.

If Yorma overcomes Swick who IMO is one of the top 8 biggest contributors on this site, this contest is a joke and will end up becoming exactly what I didn't want happening.

Wow...next round the Alias/wake99 match-up is REALLY tough for me to pick...

it shouldn't be, wake wins. he's one of the top 4 biggest contributors imo, Alias is awesome and all but wake runs every Canadian event, he runs the biggest contest on the site with messiah AND he's awesome. whereas Alias is just awesome.

Anyways, Cash and Nik are a tie, so I break the tie and I pick Cash to go to the next round. boom.
