Rulon Gardner Wiki

A highly decorated decorated high school and collegiate wrestler, Rulon would pull off perhaps the greatest upset in Olympic history by ending the 13 year unbeaten streak of Aleksandr Karelin at the 2000 summer Olympics.
Rulon would make his mma debut at Pride Shockwave 2004, defeating fellow gold medalist Hidehiko Yoshida by unanimous decision after overwhelming him with his size and wrestling skill. Despite a dominant debut, Rulon would never fight again, stating that he didn't like hurting people.
